Hot air over Bournemouth
Being spared the annual party conferences is one of the pleasures of living outside the UK. The most widely praised speech at the Labour conference was Gordon Brown's:
I saw old Gordon on the BBC, jowls wobbling as usual, ranting on about "defeating the Tories". That stuck me as pretty feeble for a party that has been in power for six and half years.
Still, leave to John Prescott to really make you cringe.
Nice one John! My God, that's funny.
