A grieving Albanian woman in Celine, Kosova
The Guardian has an excellent collection of material detailing Milosovic’s crimes against humanity. This is from the BBC:
In one of his early speeches, in 1988, before hundreds of thousands of Serbs, he declaimed: "We enter every battle... with the aim of winning it."But, in the end, the Serbs lost all their wars. They lost in Croatia, in Bosnia and in Kosovo.
The Croatian war claimed some 20,000 lives, the Bosnian war 100,000 and the Kosovo war some 10,000.
Millions of lives were shattered.
And this is Bob Dylan, "Masters of War" which captures my mood perfectly.
And I hope that you die
And your death'll come soon
I will follow your casket
In the pale afternoon
And I'll watch while you're lowered
Down to your deathbed
And I'll stand o'er your grave
'Til I'm sure that you're dead
